The dogs used to love peeing on these trees

just back from the morning dogwalk. many, many trees down all over the neighborhood. it's so sad. one tree ripped up part of a sidewalk when it fell; another tree smashed a house flat (but the occupants were able to escape; i can't imagine how scary that must have been).

when we got back from our walk, the power was back on, just 30 hours later.

the boys are quite happy that everything is back to normal.
