Bam! Bam! Bam!

sorry for the pounding, folks. i'm busy adding a trophy room onto the blog. i'm just putting the shelving up now, to hold the two awards that the rotten correspondent has given me. [sets down circular saw, removes goggles.] ah, that's better.

today's task, while the varnish dries, will be to hand out these awards to some of you, as well as the creative blogger award, which i got a while back. stop back later if you're curious. thank kyew. thank kyew very much. [bows.]

[inserts ear plugs, picks up saw. aaaarreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. sawdust flies. riley runs and hides in the basement bathroom.]

the thoughtful blogger award is for people who have a welcoming blog, who post thoughtful comments on others' blogs and on their own, in response to others.

all of those blogs are places where i feel at home. i think i could easly have coffee with any of you and it would be one of those days where coffee time stretches into late afternoon and pretty soon we're ordering beers and we're still talking....



the creative blogger award is for people who bring unique and creative elements to their blogs. music and lovely pictures (cait), weird awards of their own design that nobody in their right mind would ever want (willowtree), video and photography (swampwitch) and wonderful writing (-ann, swearing mother).

and the nice matters award is for people who are, well, nice. face it--we all love comments, and it's always nice to get comments from kaycie, merry, babaloo, terri, and beccy. they're intelligent and thoughtful and i really enjoy the back-and-forth.
