Three carols.

on this saturday before christmas, i offer you three spectacular christmas songs.

The Pogues "Fairytale of New York." one of the best christmas songs ever. i love how shane macgowan sings it, but you should also troll YouTube and pull up the video of Christy Moore singing it. it becomes less bleak in his rendition. and what a voice.

"the snow lay on the ground." one of my favorite traditional carols ever. this is a charming little version, not my favorite--my favorite has to be the mormon tabernacle choir. but for some reason, they're not on YouTube.

"bring a torch, Jeanette, Isabella." such a pretty song; such a pretty video. it's like animated christmas cards.

what music makes you feel like christmas?
