Aw, gee, Ronnie Drew.

Ronnie Drew died on Saturday. I just found out. Dammit. Throat cancer. Dammit.



Here's Bono, Mary Black, Shane MacGowan, Sinead O'Connor, and many more, singing "The Ballad of Ronnie Drew."

And you know Ronnie--the gravelly voiced guy who founded the Dubliners. Here he is singing "I'll Tell Me Ma." Unmistakable voice. You know Ronnie Drew.

He was a grand man, great singer and visionary.
I'll miss him. My partic fav was "The Aul Triangle". He sang it with ten tons of gravel in his voice.....
