For Patience, and Lali, and others who have a Very Old Dog

A lovely piece in today's New York Times about how owners of older dogs are cheering Stump's victory at Westminster.

Now, I know there's controversy about dog shows--no question; the controversy is even playing out here, in our lively comments of yesterday.

But surely there's no controversy over loving our old dogs, and being happy when they thrive.
