Spin

Walking back from lunch, I passed a window with this sign:

"In order to serve you better during this economic downturn, this office will now be closing."

I was walking pretty fast (as I do) and so didn't quite catch what office this was. The rest of the way back to work I tried to figure out what business might serve us better in a depression by shutting down.

The best I could come up with was: bill collector.

What do you think it was? (Next week, when I'm back from Boston, I'll walk past it again and let you know if you were right.)

Guesses welcome.

And now, I really must go write my speech.
