All's well

Riley seems nearly back to normal. I think I'll stop the Metacam after today. (Metacam has helped both dogs tremendously. But I also worry about it because it can damage the liver.)

Boscoe is managing the stairs quite well, though coming down from the landing is kind of a wild hell-bent-for-election catapult that often results in him sliding across the floor and crashing into the futon.

And now, at 5:30 a.m., it is gently raining, one of those lovely late-summer-early-fall soaking rains that is erasing the drought of June and July.

Headed into the weekend busy, healthy and happy. Planning to use the back porch every minute we can, until it gets too cold. Hoping the same for you all.

And a note: The Women's Colony website has used one of my Russia stories today in their "passport" section. Stop by and leave a comment. Pretend you've never read it before! Click here: Passport
