Nature note: Tuesday

I was only going to post one quick picture from the morning walk. But the sunshine was so golden...


And the ferns are starting to open.


And this is the first morning that the columbines are in bloom.

And the grass in the park is green and velvety (if not in our yard).


The crabapple trees are at their peak.


The lilacs are next up.


And ducks continue to waddle where ducks don't quite belong, looking for a place to lay their eggs.
