An October tradition


The ballpark was lovely, and the evening was warm.




Pavano, one of our most reliable pitchers, was on the mound.



The fans were decked out in their Pavano mustaches.


...although some of them looked more like Yosemite Sam.




Others wore lucky hats.



When the chatty Orlando Hudson hit a home run, the Homer Hankies came out in full force.




When Delmon Young hit a triple, there was still a shred of hope.



But even rally caps couldn't get the job done. In the end, the Yankees stomped us into the ground.  I'm wondering if losing 11 playoff games in a row is some kind of record.
