Two feet of snow? Really?
Two feet of snow? Really? That's the forecast for this weekend. It's supposed to start snowing in another hour or two and then snow as much as three inches an hour, straight through the middle of Saturday. Here's what things look like right now, while all is calm, all is bright:
The forecast could be wrong, of course, but right now they're suggesting this will be the biggest storm since the notorious Halloween Blizzard of 1991. We have extra groceries, a new load of firewood, and a brand-new snowblower. We'll be fine. But I'll post pictures periodically throughout the storm, so check back and mark our progress.
