No worries

All is well. We went Up North for a week -- Rosie's introduction to the North Shore! -- and we will post stories again, hopefully this weekend.

Sorry for the interruption, and the mysterious silence. All is well. She is growing. We started obedience training. Riley is happy. Life is good.

Here's a Rosie-and-Riley-Up-North photo to tide you over. Doesn't she look like that groundhog that popped up in someone's vacation photos a while back?

They both look good and happy. Rosie looks big! I think she's turning into a Lab.

She does look like the ground squirrel in the picture! Maybe Rosie can be a new internet sensation.

Hi, I am just discovering your blog!! I found it, actually, while Google-searching mixed breed dogs!! Seriously!! So there we have it. You are "Google famous"!! ;-}
I am glad that you own mixed breed canines!! I love mutts!! My Rose is a Beagle/German Shepherd cross. I think!! Honestly? She is a "Mystery Dog".... The best kind of mixed breeds!! And I would not have it any other way.... ;op

I have noticed that Rosie often looks a little unexpected in pictures. Adorable.

What I love about the picture is how peaceful Riley looks... I didn't realize how agitated he seemed until I saw this picture and he appears younger and carefree. I almost didn't recognize him!
He has been through a lot in the past year.

Your Rosie looks so much like my BB (Black Beauty). I'll have to link you a photo when my stupid camera stops playing up! She's 6 months old now and going in for desexing this week. I think it's going to traumatise me more than her.

My girl brings joy to my life, I don't know what I'd do without her.

Bet she adored a trip to the big woods.

Funny how dogs, even when they're having a terrific time, manage to look a little worried.

Can't wait to hear about obedience class.
